We live in central IL and enjoy occasional weekends in Chicago. We came for a show at Allstate Arena. Staying in the burbs is much less expensive with free, no hassle parking. This hotel was conveniently located and inexpensive. The first floor room was spacious, and there are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby.
This hotel is dated, but that’s not a big deal.
The room was not very clean.
There was one bath towel upon arrival.
There were two tv’s, but the remotes didn’t work.
The ice machine was leaky, and the room it was in was smelly and moldy. Didn’t trust the ice to be clean.
We didn’t use the pool, but it was filthy.
There was fast food garbage and hundreds of cigarette butts around nearest entry exit door during our entire stay.
We won’t stay here again.
