Denali Princess Wilderness resort

The hotel was amazing! Beautiful lobby/fireplace area. Everything is spread out and easy to find. Loved our room, rustic, but modern. Restaurant and bar great. Wished we could have stayed longer.

I liked how everything was there. Food, coffee. Closeness to park. Staff was very attentive.
Kerri, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Excellent service and transportation amenities. Overall food was like eating on a cruise ship, if you like cruise ship food. Not very exciting to eat.
Wendy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Alaska is a beautiful place!

Was good overall. Breakfast on site was mediocre at best and over priced (king Salmon restaurant). Hair in shower, trash, debris etc on bathroom floor, toilet dirty. At least convenient to park and that was a terrific visit! Nice location, friendly staff, stores on site, and most importantly was a safe place to stay.

CHAD, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is not location for car users, mainly focus on cruise trip member. Doorman is a most important person in check in !!! You can not stay in the front of hotel entrance for a couple second to take out your staff from a car or make a check in !!! Everything is not for private tourist - if you do have another choice do not book this hotel!!!
Mariusz, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Overall property was nice with many dining & shopping options. Room was clean but cramped with only one chair & tiny bathroom. All 6 of our rooms were not ready at 3:00 pm checkin. Also there was confusion about transferring our bags to train depot and front counter staff were not very pleasant or helpful in clarifying the confusion.
Charles, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great property, easy to get to on the road from Fairbanks. The restaurants have good and varied choices, the shops are creative. Our stay was good enough to extend a day. That being said, the rooms(building K) are not sound proofed and you do hear you neighbor and everyone walking by).
Amy, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great location, along with nice restaurants and gift shops.
Kevin, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The property was very busy. They have limited parking for guests and we had to park on the street. Our guest room had black mold and mildew in the bathroom which produced a strong smell and affected our allergies. I would have tried to change rooms but we were staying near our family. I did alert management to this problem. Hopefully they take care of it for the future. Breakfast options were limited/or very expensive.

Good staff

Large, well maintained property. Had difficulty finding one restaurant. An employee named Terrell had just finished his shift but still walked us to the location. Nice young man.
William, 3-night trip

Beautiful place!
Yuko, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

There was nowhere to get a free coffee or water. You had to pay for everything.

Outdated, slow service, food poisoning

I booked a 2 queen room and they sent us to a one bed room. We had to walk all the way to another further building area for the ‘last room they had left’ with 2 beds. We had to walk or take a shuttle to the main lobbyBuildings are extremely outdated. Service at the check in was very slow with no apparent reason. Ate burgers for dinner at Fanny Qi’s saloon and got food poisoning. Spent the whole night on the toilet. At least they have a nice view…

For the price I would not return. No handsoap in the bathroom. Shower was terrible.
