Shared vestibule for multiple rooms. Neighbors slamming doors late at night. Paper thin walls. Evidently one lady got very lucky and one was very disappointed. Covid era toilet paper. Not enough linens. No tv unless you sign into your own accounts. Not even close to enough parking on site; so your only option is to park on the street and hope your vehicle or you walking many blocks to the hotel don’t get abducted by the ghetto this hotel is in. For almost $400 per night definitely not worth it. Also safety locks are installed with small wood screws so if anything did go down you would have no protection….but speaking of protection $2 condoms in the lobby (so maybe some positive news?)

Hotel was fine for one night stay before a cruise. Unfortunately, no one told us that they had a very pleasant patio with pizza oven. That would've been a delightful way to spend an evening if we had known about it. We unfortunately drove into downtown Miami just to get a small bite to eat before leaving the hotel. We also had difficulty communicating with the hotel as we lost an item and we're hoping that they would be trying to call to us after leaving two messages. we did finally reach the hotel and we're notified that our item had been lost. You must also keep in mind that this hotel has no elevator so if you have a heavy suitcase or two, that may be a problem if you're on the second or in our case, the third floor. On a positive note, there were too nice young woman working the front desk that were kind enough to let us access the hotels printer so we could print our luggage tags for the cruise line.

Bothroom was broken. Toilet wouldn't flush half of the time. People (guests) were so rude! We stayed on the second floor, we had a very early doctors appointment at Jackson Memorial Hospital and everyone on our floor must have been friends, all night stomping in the hallway going from room to room yelling, it finally eneded at around 2am! I will never go back to this hotel. The policy says to respect the property and the guests. They apparently don't care what the guests do. I did not get but 1 hour of sleep. If that. Front office staff were very nice. Other than that. Horrible experience.

Honest review - Its more affordable than anything in the are and close to downtown. The rooms were clean but the hotel is old and in need of some basic TLC. Parking is free but very limited and we had to park out on the street about a block away. The small bar located on the property had a live DJ playing house music. Unfourtunatly for us, it was located directly outside of our room (#202).Typically we enjoy this type of music and scene, but it was way too loud... I mean, like night club top volume loud... and went on from the time we checked in at 4 until midnight. I'm sure this isn't a daily occurrence but for the one night we were there it was extremely disruptive and not restful at all. My advice, don't stay in rooms 201 or 202 if there's a DJ in the wine bar.

An older retro-style hotel, exactly what Miami is known for! The grounds are lovely and the onsite restaurant and bar were convenient. The bartenders TK and Manny were so friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

- No elevator, so if your room is not on the first floors be prepared to carry your luggage up some narrow stairs (no help available). - When we got to our room air conditioning wasn’t working at all, when I communicated this to the front desk staff, they rudely invited me to request my money back on Hotels.com instead of offering a promo solution. After some time the hotel fixed the AC. - There is a restaurant / bar in the hotel and music is loud until late night, since the hotel is very small, music is quite audible in the rooms, if you are up for this kind of entertainment, it is great, if you want to rest quietly, this is a problem. It should be clearly established in the property description. - Last day, same problem with air conditioning, didn’t bother to talk to front desk.

Everything about this place was charming, except that it’s more like a b&b. The rooms are all in bungalows. No sound dampening and bathrooms were awkward. I really enjoyed the bar, the pool and the outdoor seating, but bring ear plugs and an eye mask! 👍
