The clerk at the front desk on checking in was awful. She said the room wasn't ready (I know that since it was 10 AM which is why we asked to check bags) and they would be ready at 3 which is check-in time (they weren't). She said we only had one room yet I held a confirmation from the hotel that we had confirmed AND PAID one night, TWO rooms, two adults. The rooms were not ready at check-in, the only ice machine wasn't working, the carpet needed vacuuming, the bathroom floors needed to be cleaned. The clerk was very condesending and unhelpful. Saturday morning's clerk was a delight, cheerful,helpful, knowlegable. I always stay at the Bostonian when in Boston, I'll rethink that. Great location for sightseeing, airport, restaurants, and shopping.
