My trip was saved by the girls at the front desk! Thank you for their great service! I checked in later in the evening and arrived at my room and was surprised to see the state of it, very old (we're talking 80's) banged up, scratched furniture, peeling wall paper, a bulge in the ceiling due to a water leak, carpet so dirty looking and feeling I didn't want to take my shoes off, and wrinkled, stained bedding. It looked like the room at a rough highway stop motel, not a city centre, convention hotel. Its disappointing that names like Delta and Marriott are associated with product so bad as Room 3215 at this hotel, sorry just being honest. This room should not be costing anyone $320 a night. I went back to reception and they were kind enough to relocate me to a fresh looking modern room, 7201. The only problem with this room was the iron was in bad shape and left a stain on my suit pants the next morning. I don't think I'll stay here again. Obviously millions of dollars flow through this hotel from all the conventions they book, urgent funds need to be spent on the comfort of the hotel guests! If you are assigned room 3215, say no thank you.
