We stayed here for a relaxing couple of days on our island hopping holiday but got so much more. The Hotel is set back about 50m from the road and the Glaronissi Restaurant (No affiliation to the Hotel) and surrounded by fields. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the beautiful beach at the front, and within walking distance from excellent cocktail bars & restaurants. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Betty as if we were family come to visit. Check-in was quick and painless and we were shown to our room which was the Superior Apartment with Sea View. The hotel has 2 buildings, a new, more expensive one and an older, more rustic one. We stayed in the older building, the room was basic but spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and had an old style authentic charm. Facilities included a kettle, extending clothes airer, good storage space, plenty of utensils & a modern, clean bathroom but no safe. Our wardrobe was lockable so we improvised by using this to lock away our valuables. The room opened onto the balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields with Betty’s beautiful horses and the sea beyond. It had a table and chairs that we used in the evening when we returned. The free WIFI was basic speed as most places we’d visited. Breakfast was good with local Naxian Yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, eggs, & much more.
Betty, her family & the wonderful staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. We would definitely return.
