Great hotel and friendly staff.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and always found it to be a great experience. The parking is very easy and convenient, rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff have always been really friendly and attentive. This stay was no exception but the only negative comment I would have is it would be great to have some softer pillows available but other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there on my next trip to the city.

The hotel is fine & this time very clean however the reception staff are very slow which is very disconcerting when you have just travelled hours & hours & all you want to do is get into your room & freshen up. This has happened on all our recent stays of late.

Good value and location
Excellent location near Chinatown restaurants. All staff from desk to cleaning were friendly and very helpful. Room was good, especially the very nice upgraded bathroom. I enjoyed the spa but the sauna wasn’t working which was disappointing as I had planned to use it and chose this hotel because of these facilities.

On arrival no room was ready for me, not happy
On arrival which was about 2:30 pm there was no room ready for me , and they kept me waiting till after 3:00 pm, I had places to go and appointments to keep, so this made me late, the room was ok but the air con was very noisy and kept me awake, laying in bed you can hear the continuous noise, thank god for ear plugs, first and last stay here.

Nice place&location BUT under staffed & false adds
We came because of the pool table and heated pool for our older kids. The pool table was inside a locked bar which not available for our 2 day trip. The pool is tiny about 4x4 m the image on the web site is misleading , emplying it was a big pool, the spa one day one was only half full so could not be used as a spa. They did not have enough staff , there are long queues at reception all the time. When we checked in the room was more than an hour late in being ready Aside from that , it is a nice place in a good location, with more staff and NON misleading advertising Re the pool and pool table it is with a go at the right price

Great hotel
Great comfortable hotel in a perfect location. Very quiet but in the heart of the city. Just a very short walk to Bourke St or Collins with trams, shopping & heaps of great food places all around. We love staying at The Victoria
