I can’t imagine such class of hotel with no provisions of kettle, glass or tea cups and slippers to the guests. They are all basic supplies even if a 2-3 star hotel.

The hotel is in a central location, close to all the shopping and the square. We were able to walk everywhere needed within 10 minutes. The hotel has been recently renovated and was very safe and nice. It still has the historic vibe to it but was very clean. It has an elevator and AC. The breakfast was also very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Cavalletto was absolutely beautiful. We had a room right on the canal overlooking the Gondola’s. The breakfast included was continental but there was hot scrambled egg, bacon and sausage available also. The staff were more than friendly and helpful, and nothing we asked was too much. We did have to move room on our first day due to a small air conditioning issue, but the staff moved us swiftly and made our stay extra special. I will definitely return to this hotel when I return to the beautiful city of Venice, and Hotel Cavalletto will be where I stay.

I researched for a hotel near Piazza San Marco because my husband cannot walk long distances and much of what we wanted to do was located in the vicinity of the piazza. Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo Was PERFECT. You walked out the non-water side door off reception, went a few steps up a small bridge and once over the bridge were in the piazza! If you made a left out of the door you found yourself in the lovely, tiny streets of Venice and you really could not get lost because you only had to find your way back to the piazza to easily find your way to the hotel. Make sure to take an early morning walk before the influx of tourists for the day - it’s magical! The room was lovely albeit on the smaller side, very clean, and the bathroom was very nicely sized. Overall, the service was excellent. The daily included breakfast was wonderful, with a delightful array of choices. This hotel is part of a group of hotels in Venice, and one nearby hotel also has a delightful restaurant - San Marco Restaurant- where you get 10% off. We ate there and it was excellent. The location is just steps away from the piazza and easy to get to from the piazza. Considering the proximity to the piazza we found that the prices were fair and the food was fresh, delicious and well-portioned. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

Hotel is conveniently located. AC was not working, but when expressed concern, we were provided with an electric cooler that worked great. We only stayed one night, so we made it work. The shower water pressure and temperature control need improvement. Overall we would consider staying there again.

Sentralt plassert, nydelig beliggenhet ved kanalen altså det beste utgangspunkt for de beste opplevelser. Synd å oppleve at både air condition og nøkkelkort til rom 1101 ikke fungerer. Måtte bruke en svært støyende maskin gjennom fire netter.

Convenient location. Good view from room. Room a bit dated but I think the hotel was undergoing renovation. Bar seemed to be closed. would have been good to have been informed of renovation before visiting. Good choice of food at breakfast but breakfast area was a bit cramped and only one coffee machine so often a queue.

This hotel is far to be a 4-star hotel. I"d give them 2 stars. We stayed for 2 nights and paid a fortune for mediocre quality. The room didnt have any sockets where we could change our phones, there where only 2 usb ports behind the tv. The furniture was literally falling apart and the bathroom was not properly clean. We as the receptionist for a room swap and we were given a different room that looked much better than the previous one, but at midnight we realised that the room was getting too warm, we tried to disconnect the heater but it was blocked, the ac was not working and we were told the hotel has a central ac system, not individual to each room. I asked for a fan and had to wait more than 30min. The fan was somehow trigging the heating system and the room quickly reached 29c. I had to argue with the receptionist whom initially told me there was nothing he could do. I had to ask the hotel technician to come and have a look but he was not able not able to turn off the heating. After more arguing with the receptionist we were given a new room at around 1am... very tiring experience. No recommended.
