Terrible hotel

There is odd smell in the room, light out of service, table light can not charging, wash room too small and dirty. You can hear upper floor walking step for the whole night. You can’t sleep well in these condition. Not value for money on these hotel and not recommend to all

Location is good. A couple blocks away from historic downtown and walk around waterfront. We did not eat at hotel restaurant choosing to pick up McDonalds after our walk around the area. We ate outside at the picnic tables on premises. We were very disappointed with the poor condition of hotel, especially in relation to the price of our room. Inside pool closed, outside pool closed and had not even been operational for some length of time. Hotel is clean but very tired. The clerk at reception was welcoming and offered assistance with luggage etc. as no elevator.

Me and Mama's stay

Its too bad the pool area was under construction. The hotel is a liitle dated but clean,safe and comfortable. Me and my 84 yr old mother had a great sleep. The service front desk was excellent.

Like Staying In Prison

Front desk worker was ok. Breakfast was not included, and I had to ASK about any discounts as a guest before she offered me a 10% off coupon. Hallway to room STUNK of something unknown covered up with old cleaner smell. Room door was completely stuck. Had to get help to get it open. Room was old and discusting. Couch has stains all over it, along with a room chair. Window frames have almost no paint left on them- same as tv stand/dresser. Bathroom lighting made the bathroom feel like a prison. Mattress on one bed was caved in and needed to be replaced or flipped. Sketchy people hovering around hotel all night, made it feel unsafe. Would NEVER stay there again.

Disgusting

This Hotel should not be even listed. When I went to complain this morning the reception desk kept saying "its the market.' Well first of all lets get the facts straight: #1 pool was closed, no notice on website #2 carpets filthy, shoes required #3 bathroom sink leaked into 2 drawers when running the sink. Top drawer full of water. "#4 noise unbelievable due to being located right next to outside door. People leaving at 5:30 a.m. onwards, was crazy. #5 I had no satisfaction on my complaints, only this is a different market! Really, we have just travelled from the West Coast to the East and this location was gross. We will not be using the Travellodge again as they don't acknowledge their clients "just the market!"

The bed was comfortable but, the whole place needs some love. For the price really, you would expect more. Room access is painful. No elevator and no carts for luggage transportation.

Don’t stay here

Would not recommend this place. Ridiculous price for someplace that’s probably 60 years old with original filthy carpet in the hallways, the carpet in the room is likely the same as well, just not as dirty. Homeless hanging around the parking lot charging their phones. Did not feel like a safe secure place.

One night in kenora

The hotel in general was fine, it was clean, bed was good, personal was nice and there is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner This is a very old hotel and it need a lot of renovation, specially exterior and doesn’t look like it’s regularly maintained. So i find the price way too high for what you got.

Don’t stay here

Very overpriced for the condition of room and hotel. Unsafe area of town was told by reception to park at front where they could see it as there was no cameras on property had already paid for room in advance and was very very disappointed with room. Food in the restaurant was excellent and very good service hotel itself is old and smelly room windows had screws in them and pieces of wood to keep them from being able to be opened

Staff at check in was polite that’s my only compliment! This hotel is old, run down and dirty. Very overpriced! Not even worth 100$ a night, never mind 325! Would not recommend. Travelodge should close this property. Rooms old, carpets stained, burn holes. Smells musty. Floors creaked. Bed was saggy. Exterior doors to property broken, no security, don’t need a key to enter. Keep driving! Don’t stay here. Read ALL the review on Google etc
