Great location and extremely friendly staffs

Overall it's a very good place to stay. Great location, it's just in the old town center. We could walk to most of the important attractions. Public transportation and connection is good and convenient. Walking a couple of mins you can reach the bus/tram stop and take bus or tram to Königsee, Hallstatt and Redbull Hangar 7 or Salzburg airport. Breakfast is awesome. Hotel staffs are always nice and friendly. But we ran into the same situation as other travelers' experience, we stayed for 2 nights the shower gel was used up on the first day and no refill afterwards even we came to the desk to ask and remind them. You better check the shower gel first when you are in the room. Also the room price is somehow too high. With the price we expected to get a bigger or newer room. I'd suggest you to consider other hotels not located in the old town center if you also hope to stay with a fair price. Because the public transportation system is quite convenient in Salzburg city center, you can even walk.

Nice, quiet hotel, close to pedestrian area, river

Beautiful, apt like room, not huge but comfortable kimg bed. Our building was across street from main.reception area. Breakfast buffet was delicious, included with room Will return!

Book the hotel not the annex over the road.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years. And enjoyed. This time I was allocated a room over the road in the annex. Make sure you stay in the hotel or go somewhere else. Just saying!!

On arrival the sink was dirty. I asked for this to be rectified whilst we went sightseeing. When we returned the hair had been removed but not the toothpaste etc.. I then had to ask again. We encountered a number of other issues which are insignificant on there own but all together resulted in a disappointing experience.

We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is well located and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality. The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use. Only one incident marred our stay, we foolishly left some cash out and found it missing after breakfast. The cleaner apparently thought it "was a tip"; when informed the hotel management had it returned immediately with a huge apology. We would be happy to stay there again.
