Family of 5, 2 Adults, 2 adult sized teens and an 10 year old.
Our plane was delayed 2 hours and so we got to the hotel at 2:00am. They didn’t have our room for 5 ( fold out couch), even though I had called twice that day to tell them we would be checking in late. I had already paid for the room, and the front desk didn’t offer anything helpful, just we can’t guarantee rooms after midnight. 2 queen beds weren’t going to cut it. I asked for another room ($99) that he said I would have to talk to the manager about in the morning about compensation. Not what you want to hear at 2:00 am . Hotels.com stepped up and was very helpful with that and it was taken care of. Thank you!
Also, we left the theme park 3 hours early one day to go back to enjoy the water park just to come find they had closed the big slide (the part my teens/kids wanted to do) so that was disappointing. The paper said open until 8:00, and the part for toddlers was open, but we would have stayed at the park longer if we had known the outdoor portion was closed. It wasn’t because of weather, and there were a lot of people around, so it was disappointing.
