Don't be fooled by the flattering high rating! The location is right on the sea front but a little out of town. It does have a rooftop terrace providing amazing views of the Pacific ocean. There is a utility room offering basic wash/dry facilities and a useful free water dispenser to fill up bottles for the day/night ahead. The double room that we stayed in was very small and basic and by far the smallest we stayed in during our trip. There were, only 2 power sockets in the room and neither were near the bed. There was no kettle, however, there was a fridge. The hotel rooms were far too close to each other and the acoustics were terrible - every door slam, toilet flush and conversation reverberated down the corridor. The hotel arranged a volcano walk tour for us and suggested an early breakfast before pick up. We duly arrived early the following morning only to be greeted by a locked breakfast room. We then had to wait for the miserable staff member to arrive and unlock the door. When they finally arrived, the breakfast had not been prepared and we subsequently had to forego it as our driver for the tour had arrived. No apology from the hotel was offered. One day we arrived 5 minutes late for another monotonous breakfast. However, the staff repeatedly told us us that it was too late to have any breakfast. There was no leeway on this, despite the fact that we had paid for breakfast. It really wouldn't have taken long to allow us to grab a coffee and bread roll as the hote

Great spot

We loved our time at the Drake Inn. We spent four nights with our four and six-year-old. The location was perfect. 50 feet from the beach. The staff was really helpful. They provided sand toys and boogie boards for our kids to play with, helped us arrange travel, and even stored our bags for us and let us borrow their outdoor shower after our stay was completed. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had a very nice 3-days stay, all was very clean and comfortable. Room was large and with nice design i The team was helpful and friendly. Only improvement could be the breakfast with some cheese, vegetables and oats. We couldn’t use the jacuzzi, was in work. The location is fantastic direct to the beaches. It is a beautiful hotel across the street from the beach. Wonderful views and sitting areas. Close to town. Relaxing. Clean room with refrigerator. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but fresh and exactly what we needed.

We loved the Drake. Rebekka was fabulous. Our room was available early. It was sparkling clean I loved being at the end of the strip. Literally right next door to the turtle sanctuary. The view from the 3rd floor was great. I traveled with my adult sons and had a 2 bedroom. It is extremely safe. Isabela was our favorite island

Wonderful hostess Rebecca and delicious breakfast!

Rebecca greeted me at the door and for the next five evenings, she made me feel at home and gave me lots of advice for best activities and how to see the animals I wanted to see 💚 the breakfast was made to order eggs, fruit, granola, bread, and fresh juice and delicious! The views from the room either face the beach or the lagoon in the back where flamingos can be spotted. I will definitely stay again when I return to Isabella!

We moved this place, from its location right across the beach, to the decor and service. The place is spotless and the room’s decor and furnishing were top notch. Comfortable beds and the perfect view. Our room led to a mini jacuzzi and it was perfect for relaxing after a day full of tours and activities. Rebekka and the while staff were very kind, diligent and professional. I highly recommend this place. Worth the price.

This was our favorite hotel during our 2-week Galapagos trip. The view is amazing. The Inn Keepers are very friendly and accommodating. They offer many conveniences including breakfast, clothes washing area, outdoor shower, luggage storage etc.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, dieses ist jedoch innerhalb weniger Gehminuten erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war für 2 Personen sehr klein, das Bett nur 120x180cm gross. Dafür gibt es eine grosse Terasse und einen Garten zur gemeinsamen Nutzung.

The family suite is spacious. The rooms are clean and the receptionist Rebecca is very helpful. The property is right by the beach so it was very easy to have a relaxing day for the kids (and for the adults to observe the animals). Please note that breakfast is not included in the family suite booking. Somehow this is not super clear on the booking page.

Fantastic little hotel right across from the beach. You can walk out barefooted and stroll along the beach and see the marine iguanas, brown pelicans, and other wildlife. The hotel has a very nice rooftop patio to lounge on and a cozy sitting area on the main level. Only a few minutes walk to town on the sandy road. Rebecca was awesome and assisted in transport, passed on info on cancelled flights and provided restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Rebecca!
