We chose the hotel as it was close to the train station for out heritage train trip to Hue. Check in was poor. Fair enough room wasn’t available at 1pm but we just had to sit and wait with no further communication until 2.30pm. Check in was supposed to be 2pm. We suspect we were forgotten about until my wife caught the eye of one of the reception staff. Plenty of staff but perhaps because of language barrier we just didn’t feel welcome when we arrived. Strangely there was more warmth at check out when they were seeking a good review.
Porters are quite happy to let you open your own doors upon returning to the hotel; wouldn’t want to interrupt their chats.
Didn’t get to try the pool or gym, but the room was good. High quality, near new fittings and appliances and a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is ok, less choices than other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam and less proactive staff. I think the hotel is suited more for local and Korean guests but considering the price we paid, it is fine for a short stay.
