Absolutely loved this property! The room was huge, the bathroom was nice, breakfast was good, the historical tree in thr parking lot was beautiful, the area around was great for a morning walk. Amazing place to stay.

The perfect combination of cheapest and convenient! Facilities are not amazing but staff is friendly and efficient, breakfast is included and is at walkable distance from St Marcos, the Fountain of Youth, and the city center. I will definitely stay here again!

The linens appeared unwashed and stained, with visible dirt and debris. Ants had infested the sink and drain area. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to rinse off or wash completely.

Room was clean and AC worked wonderfully! The location was great and within walking distance of several attractions as well as the bus tour so I did not have to use my car while in St Augustine which was a plus. Breakfast was average but hot and edible.

We stay here every time we come to StA. We love the tree and the central location. This time the place seemed a little rundown compared to past stays but was still very clean. The mattresses though are very hard and uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was clean. If you book the Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley tour, one of the stops is conveniently located right at the hotel, next to “The Senator” a 600-year-old oak tree.

Looks Better Online Than in Person

We stayed at Villa 1565 and were pretty disappointed. The place looks like a renovated motel with the online pictures from website, but the updates don’t hide the problems. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and while the room appeared clean at first glance, it was actually quite dirty once you looked a little closer. The pool area was run-down, with broken sun chairs that made it uninviting to use. On top of that, the trolley tour runs right through the motel’s parking lot every 30 minutes, which makes it hard to relax. The only real plus was the free breakfast, which was just average but at least convenient.
