Not bad for the price

My two kids and I met up with my mom and niece for a 3 night stay here. This hotel has a fair price, most of the staff were very helpful and it was overall clean. I really wanted to give this place a better review as I can see some potential …However, the room was quite small and had a terrible smell. The furnishings were very cheap, 3 out of 4 lamps didn’t work, there were very few outlets, and the tv /fridge/coffee pot was hooked up to a dangerous looking extension cord. Additionally the pool was heavily over-chlorinated. All three of my children left with a severe cough after our trip. I will not be returning for our next trip and would not recommend this place as the negatives outweigh the good of this hotel.

Our stay :)

The stay itself was amazing! Breakfast staff did a great time keeping the area cleaned and stocked. The pool area was perfect; the staff in there for the water slide was good. We had a suite room with the jacuzzi tub. The bed was AMAZING! My biggest complaint is I called to have more towels brought up to my room (you only get 2) and i was told I had to come down to get them. I have NEVER had to do that before & it was very inconvenient. My next complaint is you could see and feel the tension between staff members. As a business owner myself that should never happen. Fake it if you have to infront of paying guests.

Stay was Okay

The room looked very clean when we first got there. However, later when we went to get in bed I noticed the sheets where stained. I do believe the bedding was cleaned, but had what appeared to be pee stains. Those sheets should have been tossed. Then, they put a $150 hold on my card for incidents with out telling me. Normally they just keep a card on file. I stayed with them on March 25th and they still have not released the $150 hold back to my account.

Find a different hotel

Stayed overnight at this hotel before leaving for the airport. I booked a room that said it was big enough for 6 people. I hope all 6 people are extremely small. It was a small hotel room with the smallest pullout couch I’ve ever seen and it was extremely uncomfortable. There was a metal bar that went across your back. The pool color was yellow and the room smelled funky. The hot tub kept filling up with foam and the “lifeguard” would put chemicals in it to remove them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place seemed to be alright with the exception of the cleanliness. There was hair on the bed the toilet was dirty with urine on the back of the seat. The shower head was peeling its chrome off almost cut my hand on it. Hair ball on bathroom floor. The carpet next to the bed was peeling off the wall. Maintenance hasn't done a very good job with the room obvious broken spots on bathroom door. The other people around us were very loud slamming doors throughout the night. My children were in the hot tub and the attendant came out and poured chemicals in it right between them while they were in it. Snack machine on second floor would not accept any money. There was no ice bucket in the room had to ask twice first time was sent back to room to check again before given one the second time we asked. Place is what you would expect from a cheap no questions asked hole in the wall motel not exactly a place I would take my family again. My biggest problem with it is the room was not cleaned very well at all. But it was cheap compared to most but I suppose you get what you pay for it served it's purpose.

Power tripping life guard in duty

The front desk staff were nice, the weird lifeguard guy was not. He was extremely rude to all the kids swimming. My daughter's friend got a bloody nose going down the water slide and he yelled at us (like we could help that). He was continually yelling at the families and kids in the pool. He was on a huge power trip and made it very uncomfortable to be in the pool, which is the only reason we booked this hotel. The rooms were not the cleanest (we found socks, old candy and towels left behind). The beds were comfortable, tv was very small. The hotel smelled strongly of weed. The breakfast was borring and always out of the items. The maid came pounding on our door like the police at 8:30 for cleaning service. I appreciate the offer to clean, but it was really early. When we were packing our stuff to leave the maid kept asking us if we were leaving (it was 9:00) so she could clean. She was also super sick so that was weird. Be prepared to lrave 150 deposit. Overall not the greatest hotel experience, not the worst. We wont be going back due to how uncomfortable staff made us.

Gross floors

The staff was friendly and helpful. TV didn't work and they helped us right away. I only give it a 3 star because whole place smelled like chemicals (probably from the chlorine of the indoor pool) my bed semed broken or needed to be flipped because there was a noticeable hole/dip near the top which i kept slipping out of bed. ( i had to make sure i was in the center of the bed or laying in an angle so that i didn't roll out) I also wouldn't walk around barefoot because the floors where very dirty especially the bathroom. (Pic included) stains on carpets.

This was NOT GOOD !!!

The room was very dirty. It looked like the sheets had not been changed since the last traveler stayed there. Also, there was crumbs and dust bunnies all over the floor. It looked like the floor had not been cleaned in quite some time. But the icing on the cake was when we returned to our room after a day out having fun, we open the door and right there in front of us was a giant black garbage bag, full of the trash from our room as well as the trash from probably every other room on the first floor. They left that in our room! When I approached the front desk about this, they were very apologetic and removed the trash bag, but indicated that there was nothing they could do about it as far as issuing me a credit or a refund or anything else for that matter. Unfortunately, I did not have my phone with me at the time and was not able to get a picture of the trash bag full of garbage. But I have added pictures of the floor and the mess that was all around.Needless to say I will not be staying there again. Also, the pool area and hot tub was not very clean and was completely overrun by children literally jumping all over the place. I’m not anti-Kid but it basically made it so that we could not use it.
