Room and staff. The check was very poor and poor, unkind service. Restaurant was good and good, kind service. Location is great. Clean hotel but many things in room were broken. Tv, shower, phone (we had to disconnect due to beeping) were broken. Thermostat did not work to cool down room. The area is VERY loud until 3:00am.

Great location. Near restaurants & across the street from the beach. You probably should include a Bio-Hazard suit in your luggage. The bed & towels had mysterious stains that appear biological in origin. The staff was very friendly & the overpriced restaurant was good. If under 30, probably a 5 star experience, if not, look elsewhere.

Affordable ocean view property

Affordable ocean view hotel with access to beach, restaurants and shops. Our room was very spacious and had a wonderful view. Staff wasn’t the friendliest and the breakfast voucher system was complicated and mediocre, but other than that it was a great way to enjoy South Beach.

I wasn't expecting too much from this property but did not expect what I experienced either.. I new rooms were tiny which i was ok with, but the bathroom was smelly and lack of ventilation ... we really had hard time staying inside the room. the location is the only plus.. remember that if you have child, they will charge you $10 per child per day which was not mentioned anywhere.

I am having a hard time getting the refund on my husband's debit card. He did not come so when I checked in, they wanted his card since he paid for the reservation. Since I didn't have it, the said they refunded his card and then changed the entire amount to my card. He has not seen his refund. I may cancel my July 12 stay there if this is not resolved in the next day or two.

Close to the beach. One thing I wish the owner would change is to allow his hotel desk rep to extend stays if the room is available instead of having to rebook on online. It’s very inconvenient. Other than the elevator being stubborn, I like this place.

Fun but loud

Our room was just off the stairway on the second level. It was very noisy as the restaurant/bar was right underneath us. We could also hear people walking outside as our room was street side. It was fun to be on the iconic Ocean Drive but we did not get much sleep. Definitely a party atmosphere which I was expecting. The bathroom was super small but still functional! Staff were courteous.
