The pool was not open due to construction??? I wish we would have known this before we booked the hotel. It should say it somewhere on their website — pool temporarily down— something. Other than that, this was a pleasantly restored hotel along the original Route 66.

Multiple things were disappointing. The room I reserved advertised it as a King Suite and the hotel had a pool and hot tub. The room I was placed in had a king bed but it was certainly not a suite. Standard basic room and it had an odor. The hotel did have a pool and hot tub but neither could be used. The desk clerk said they had to be inspected before the pool could open and it would be a couple weeks before they would be inspected. The listing also advertised free breakfast and in fact there was breakfast served from 6-9am but when we got to the lobby at 7:45, the buffet plans were nearly empty and no staff in sight.

When we arrived for breakfast, all 3 containers were empty. As they filled them, they emptied again. The room was nice, but I selected this hotel from the photos hoping for something very unique for the route 11 experience and found it disappointing.

Hotel très bien rénové, les chambres sont spacieuses, bien aménagées et bien équipées : Veilleuse automatique au pied du lit avec détection de mouvement, très grand écran de TV, et détail non degligeable, le réfrigérateur est silencieux. Déco des chambres ambiance route 66 très sympa. Bonne pression dans la douche, et tout le nécessaire de toilette est dispo (gel douche, shampoing, lotion...) Le petit-déjeuner est très bien, mieux que la majorité des hôtels de ce type : Les œufs sont bons, il y a du bacon, des potatoes, des saucisses meilleures qu'ailleurs, et beaucoup de choix de topping pour les céréales. Et il y a même du Nutella ! Ah et il y a un petit chat noir craintif mais trop mignon qui traîne souvent sur le parking, attention à lui en arrivant !

Older building newly remodeled. New furniture and fixtures. Small and functional room. Bare bones but clean and decent beds and fun themed decor. Traveler should be aware that it's not fancy but very decent for a quick night's stay. Breakfast was standard fare with a bonus of hot eggs, sausage & potatoes. Friendly staff. Lots of parking for larger and towed vehicles.

This is a nice place to stay if are you are traveling and need to stop for a night. We came in on a Sunday and there looked to be only two restaurants in the town and only one was open. There is not much to do other than the Route 66 Museum. The staff were nice and the breakfast was fair. We did not try the pool or spa.
