The location is great. The A,C,E train is right outside the door. This alone would make me come back.
The art deco was awesome, and the room was pretty clean.
The bed was terribly uncomfortable, and the heater/air conditioner was so loud.
What really ruined my experience was the fact that they charge for a mini fridge. I was in town for a food festival and I had tons of left overs and goodies for my family.
Never in 20 years of going to hotels have I been told there was a charge for a mini fridge. Not only was there a charge for a mini fridge, the charge was a ridiculous $50 a night.
Maybe the mini fridge is a solar powered super efficient fridge that was brought in by aliens -- If it is, I'm sorry for my review, but if not?
Yeah, awful.
I did not pay the $50, because that's ridiculous. It should come with the room if asked. Instead, I walked a block and bought a cooler for $15 and packed it full of ice. At least Wyndham doesn't charge for ice.
