The place is a bit dated, and there was no fridge so tha was a huge disappointment. It can use a renovation but the location is definitely the highlight of this place. It’s walking distance to a lot of nice eating place there. The parking isn’t across the street when we went, it seems to be under construction.

I have stayed at La Reine a few times, but not for several years. Sadly, the hotel quality and the attitude of the staff have gone downhill. For the not-inexpensive price, the hotel should put a little more effort into customer service.

I wasn’t sure if the place was under renovation or not. The walls going upstairs smelled like fresh paint but the damages on the signs were not repaired. There were also visible damage on the floor too right before you reach the stairs. The parking across the street as seen on the photos online was also construction so you’ll have to find a parking garage or park somewhere else. We chose the parking garage because it seems safer. The room was a bit dusty and only one of the tv remotes worked. The room overall was a bit dated and you can tell by the dust, outlets and lighting. I am sure this place was decent when it first opened but is due for another renovation. The shower had mold on the caulking and doesn’t have anywhere for you to put your shampoo and soap. We were also disappointed after buying some breakfast sandwiches and water to realize that they don’t have a fridge or microwave in the room. The best part about this place is that it’s 10 mins away from a selection of restaurants. Unless this place had some upgrades, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

This was a last minute booking due to the Dutch rail strike which meant staying in Eindhoven instead of our original booking in Sittard. Just off the main centre so it was quiet even with the bar next door. Being upgraded was a bonus!
