This hotel is an older property which is extremely near the airport & has a shuttle which was nice. Overall, it was very clean, the staff attentive and helpful, there is an onsite restaurant, and coffee is available all of the time. The fact that it is older is obvious, though because everything is very dated and there is no elevator. The fact that there was no elevator is a BIG issue when you have a lot of luggage. They do have people who will carry your luggage for you,but that adds an expense (tip) that you didn't expect on top of the expense of the room (which is not as high as the other hotels, but high for a very outdated hotel). The restaurant has very good food, but breakfast is not free and while the food was good, it was expensive (but it is Anchorage where everything is expensive). So it was fine for one night, but I don't think I would want to stay here for longer than that.
