Giving homeless shelter energy dirty smelly

Room dirty hallway and elevator smelled like urine. Elevator had spit on the walls. Pool was cold creepy & cloudy. No hot tub eww. Hot chips and long curly hair around the bed. Stained sheets THE AC WENT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. We slept in a hot room. The parking lot felt like a liquor store in the hood. There was a fight in the parking lot by 3 women lumber jacks

Convenient to Mall of America

Hotel ran out of towels not even sure how that happens. One staff member appears to be on the spectrum was a little inappropriate with guest telling things about the hotel. He probably shouldn’t be saying. Hence how we find out there were no hotels pool area was overwhelming smell of chlorine. They also charged me a fee to park in the parking lot that I didn’t find out about until after I got home nothing was said to me in person.

They have an entire parking lot but still wanted paid parking, ok not the worst. Got to the front desk, checked in, mediocre service, not too bad again. But then I noticed the rest. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes to the point of headaches. We got to our rooms and it still smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Check the mattresses and they had a giant blood stains on them and the curtains were torn. Immediately felt uncomfortable and went to ask staff for another room hoping it was just bad luck. Front desk girl just seemed annoyed, I showed the photos of the mattress and she gave us another room. We go up to that room, did the usual check and the mattresses had weird mysterious stains along the trim this time and sticky ripped curtains. Didn’t even want to stay, messaged help on the hotels.com website ASAP. Went downstairs and the front desk girl was not there, waited about 5 minutes before she came back. Told her we were leaving, she didn’t ask any questions just said okay have a good day. We left absolutely mortified and like we had been fooled by the photos. Horrible experience I bet we would have gotten bed bugs if we stayed.

I was charged $10/night for parking. I was not aware of this fee when booking. Breakfast was poor. The room’s bathroom sink was leaky and the hotel was in general disrepair. Cleanliness was ok - not the best, not the worst. Would not stay again.

Not what I expected

I was informed when I arrived there’s a $10/day parking fee that’s not listed on the website. My bed was hard, there’s mold on the wall, the paint on the tub, walls, hallway and ceiling was peeling. The parking wasn’t worth $10/day since there was glass in the parking lot and the parking area was small and on the other side of the building opposite of my room . The only thing for breakfast was waffles and yogurt ( which I don’t eat) and no dairy free milk for coffee .

Very Convenient

Get me out of here!

This entire hotel smelled like pot. It was disgusting. I was choking in the hallway because the smell was so thick. Had to put a towel under the door to keep the smell out but I don’t think it did any good. The front desk lady was rude on the phone to another person that called while she was checking me in. The bathroom is beat up and dirty. There was yelling in the parking lot in the middle of the night loud enough to wake us all up and yelling in the hallway of the hotel.

We stayed for one night and ended up forgetting a pillow. We called told them we forgot it and would be by to pick it up later that night, and they stole it. So my opinion don't stay unless you know you won't forget anything.

Never Again.

We ONLY stayed because we purchased the hotel stay in advance. I WILL NEVER PRE-PAY for a Hotel again! The bed was hard. Pillows tiny! Stains or dents in the wall! The vent in the bathroom was falling down. The Kleenex were just stuck in a hole that used to be a holder. We purchased Lysol to spray our room before we even saw it! We used the Lysol in the hallway. It smelled damp and dirty. We actually saw a roach. We wasted our money! One of the worst experiences of my life.
