Check in was quick, having to have $100 for deposit I think is a bit much however I guess I understand. Nice restaurant close by. Clean outside and inside friendly customer service

The hotel room was dirty. The floor was sticky around the bed. There was a condom wrapper left under the bed. The alarm clock was dusty. You have to pay for house cleaning which is ridiculous. The room should’ve already been cleaned before you stay in it. The breakfast was a joke. Only offered packs of oatmeal and coffee. The hallway had a musty odor. Don’t be fooled by the reviews. It was a bad experience. I give it a 3 out of 10 on a good day

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and clean. However, in all the hallways, common areas and on our floor the smell of weed was extensive. We would walk down our hall and that is all we would smell, we got on the elevator and the smell, and we went outside to go to our car and weed. We did like the location to where we were visiting, but we will not be visiting this hotel again.

Willy at front desk was rude and unhelpful. Arrived after driving all day to find they cancelled our reservation. Hotel did nothing to resolve issue. I don’t recommend staying here.

Rude staff

The lady in the reception is very nice and friendly but the guy who followed her on the evening had an attitude. I think he forget how to smile and he seems irritated when I asked for extra 2 towels for My Family. There’s 4 of us and there were only towels provided in the room. I don’t think he’s the right person to be in the reception area. I also overheard him exchanging harsh words with one of the guests, shortly after we left. He should be taught human relationships and friendliness.

The only part I can say was not what I thought it was to be, was the fact that there really is no breakfast. Coffee and a muffin should just be left in the kitchen of the room. It was very disappointing to get downstairs expecting at least waffles or even oatmeal. Maybe you shouldn't put breakfast on the website. Everything else was great

Experience to remember

I was there for a family event. I had never stayed at this chain of hotels before and will never again. First of all why would you run my credit card before I checked in when you wouldn’t let me check in thirty minutes early. The young lady at the desk was very rude. I was tired and just wanted to lay down for a while. The room didn’t even have a coffee pot and neither did the lobby. I had a kitchen with no stove just a hot plate no dishes no glass ware after complaining when we went out the next day on returning we noticed that a kitchen towel and a sign about kitchen appliances retail be placed on the counter. No complimentry lotion and the small thing of body wash wasn’t enough for one bath when there was two of us. I have never been any where in the United States that you had to take your dirty towels to the check in counter to get fresh towels. I visit Ohio about three times a year always stay in Independence. I will never forget this experience and will never be a guest at your hotel again. And try to have a breakfast worthy of the price you pay for the room.
