The only plus is that pets are allowed. This Red Roof gives the corporate Red Roofs a bad name. No ice machine, no snacks, no coffee maker, rooms have had a bad makeover. No breakfast like corporate Inns. Overall 1 out of 5 is generous!

The room I reserved was not available. They did give us a room with 2 queen size beds instead of the 1 king I reserved. Room was ok. We had to pick up a TV remote from the desk as there was none in the room. The bath towels were little better than a paper towel. The room had bags for an ice bucket, but no bucket, and there was an empty bracket attached to the wall where a smoke detector should have been. The mini fridge did work phenomenally though.

Loved the history there and the tavern. The fireplace in the lobby was great too. The bar tenders were terrific as well as our waitress. The room was fine but the bathroom toilet was terribly low and difficult to use. The room was cold and we couldn’t adjust temperature. The inn could use a professional decorator. Again, it was lovely and we were there for the history
