I have stayed at this property for 6-7 years since my daughter started university. I like its proximity to ByWard Market, ample parking space, Loblaws next door, and reasonable price. I also like the attached Indian restaurant next door.
However, the carpet in the hallways felt too worn out. They should be deep-cleaned or even replaced.
The room wasn't ready when we arrived for check-in, so we waited 40-45 minutes to get in. When we entered the room, the fan was too noisy. We could not have slept through it, so we asked to be moved to another room.
The bathroom in the new room had a putrid smell. Regulating the water temperature was too tricky, and the pressure was unpredictable.
Nothing is majorly wrong with this property, but the little inconveniences were annoying. This would be our last stay at this hotel.
