We stayed there for four nights. We asked to change shower towels every other night (basically asked for a change once on the 3rd night), but we got a cold response stating “we only offer towels once for courtesy. For courtesy? Excuse me, courtesy means that they are so nice to even provide the towels once, which they don’t even have to do so? It’s a little absurd.

The property was clean, although having to take our trash outside to bins around the corner was not a holiday highlight! Toilet paper ran out. Induction plate had no induction pots. The shower head was unstable. It’s a pity there was no host on site.

It was a nice place, a little ways from attractions but bus stop is very handy. My problem was the two of us were each given one bath towel for our 7 day stay and told if we wanted an extra towel it would be 10-15 euros!! I guess you can bring your own towels or buy towels at the market for 3 euros each or pay the extra to have towels. Not very good.

Cosy apartment in Florence, but not super clean

The apartment was cosy. At arrival there was plenty of communication, was able to get the key late. However, they were unable to provide a receipt for late fee checking. I was in the apartment for 12 nights and got only 2 rolls of toilet paper and one towel. The apartment was not as clean, there was trash under the bed and one of the nightstands was quite dirty. There were signs that the place had not been used for some time due to the dust on floor.

The place is really nice, clean and has everything except a good WiFi. I choose this place because of the location (I thought was going to be quiet) and the WiFi because I need to work, the WiFi signal was horrible, I could not work so I need to use my cellphone internet, of course very very expensive because I from Mexico. I told them but basically the solution was we start the modem, of course it was not the solution. At the end, I thought that as I was spending a lot of money because of the internet and the internet was not good, the owner was going to leave me leave my bags 1 hour more outside of the apartment, the answer was NO, but I have a coupon for you in a nanybag , more money of course haha; I booked in another place of course and they were amazing !

The room was very nice. We had everything we needed. The only issue was that the host was not very responsive. He was not there when it was time to check in. We had to wait outside in the street. Fortunately, another guest in the building let us into the waiting area inside. It took several attempts to reach the host. When we finally did, he said to just go ahead into the unlocked room. He never showed up. Then we couldn’t get connected to wifi. He made a couple of attempts to help us via text message. He didn’t follow up. Very disappointing.

We are two elderly women who were happy to stay in Carla's Room(s) as guests for 3 nights. We liked the space provided in the Botticelli room with windows you can open for fresh air. We would however like to point out that the passport uploading procedure is very unclear. We were (atleast) three people who had difficulty understanding the written requirements. This resulted in much stress as it turned out that we had not uploaded our passports the right way. The same had occurred for other guests whom we were so fortunate to meet and get assisted by so that we could acquire the entrance code and keys for us to get in in the evening. Please understand that all the rising digital requirements may be extra challenging for elderly people. The problem with not understanding the passport uploading procedure correctly meant that we had to walk around Florence with our luggage for many hours. We were quite tired when we finally succeeded in entering the room by evening. It would be a great help if you write specifically which passport pages to upload instead of "the front of your passport" which is not logical(!) We also suggest that you contact guests before the day before flying if you discover a problem with the uploading procedure. We suggest that you leave the metal plate on the ceramic stoves so guests may know how to use pots and pans. We suggest that you avoid fragranced potpourris and have better cleaning since the guests pay for it. However, thank you for a nice stay!
