Was charged a $50 deposit which turned into a $73 pending charge after we left. I contacted the hotel multiple times (the first attempt using their online chat service which wasted over an hour). Nothing to correct this other than sending me multiple copies of a separate invoice including completely unrelated charges.
About the room and amenities themselves:
*The room was decent minus the air conditioner that would randomly cycle on and off, emitting a loud whistling noise while it did so. Makes it pretty hard to sleep through the night.
*At 11:30AM we noticed a sign about the pool being closed at 3PM. So we thought we had time to swim, but we got kicked out of the pool anyway. We noticed one employee dumping chemicals into the pool straight from a jug, then on another day we saw an employee measuring what they were adding to the pool. I wonder which employee was doing it correctly?
*Had 1 of 2 of our room keys stop working almost immediately, then got a replacement which didn't work either. So we only had 1 room key for our 3 nights.
*The gym was okay, pretty small and the guests didn't seem to care to clean up after themselves. And it didn't seem like staff checked on it, as the water machine was broken and there was stuff on the floor multiple days in a row.
*The majority of staff were very nice, friendly, and welcoming.
All in all it was okay. Almost worth it if I didn't have to pay for parking
