Great place for extended stays!

Rooms were clean however mildew smelling. Had to switch rooms 2x mold in 1st 2 rooms. Front desk clerks are beyond friendly & accomodating. Nice pool, well groomed landscaping. With some Lysol spray & small glade candle it was perfect! Did I mention the ladies at front desk were phenomenal!

Reservations don't mean anything anymore

Booked room a week in advance and when I get there to check in after 7 hrs of driving they tell me there is a problem and they are over booked!!!! Have confirmation I had a room reserved and they said they did not have any clean king bed rooms available. Ended up staying at there " other" hotel which was on the same property.

Bed bugs in first room. Moved and quickly cleaned. Next room smelt a bit musky/moldy but was better once air turned on. Still waiting for my "hold" for incendentals to be returned. Staff was considerate and quickly changed my room.

Renovations only to lobby and pics are misleading

We arrived a little after 8 pm I waited about 10 mins for someone to appear and check us in. The hotel itself just looks seedy lots of people who look sketchy or stay there long term. It’s pet friendly so expect animal waste along the grounds. We opened our bathroom after check in to a toilet that took 6 tries to flush one movement and gnats flyi mg from the room. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall. The fan blew this musty smell into the room during our stay. Overall didn’t feel safe or warranted to even if I had no other option to stay here again.

So not worth the money

The beds were like sleeping on a tin can. When you moved on them they would pop like a crushed soda can. When we turned on water to make a bath the tub was so dirty the water turned grey. The water that my grand child splashed on the floor when I wiped it up the towel turned black from the dirty floor. We found empty wrappers stuffed in crevices in the room as well.

Great for the price

The exterior is kind of dated, but stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard. Pool area is actually quite nice. Room was mostly updated, new furniture, new flooring, with the exception of the bathroom. Older tub, older fixtures. But the location is awesome. Half the price of other area hotels, 1/4 the price of staying in French quarter and an easy 40 minute drive into the city.

Never again

I booked based on the reviews, so I want to help others. A man tried to get into my room, apparently was from the front desk, though never announced himself as an employee. Showed me a key card with my room number on it and I had to prove I was already assigned the room. The room was across from the laundry facility which people use (loudly) all night long (yes, even at 3 am). When the laundry room wasn’t loud, there was loud bass music thumping near my room, I guess people live here longer term. It’s been almost a week and they haven’t refunded my deposit. Something else worth nothing was the shower had no pressure and was luke warm and the toilet ran all night and was warm with condensation the next morning.
