We booked this hotel for the location convenience and also for the advertisement of a bath tub in the king room, as we do not have these facilities were we live and it’s always a special treat when we stay in hotels. We primarily pick hotels for that availability.
Upon check in, we got assigned the king room we had paid for, but not tub. After further conversation with the lobby staff, we were informed that the website and photos of the room advertised is wrong, apparently not tub available in the king rooms. Also, the room was very outdated, couch felt dirty, carpet had holes in it and felt dirty as well.
Bathroom and bed linen was clean though. I feel like the overall room needs some maintenance and also a refresh on the advertising photos and room amenities list.
Upon check- in we were also informed that the water will be cut off for the majority of the day. We had purposely requested a late checkout in order to freshen up prior to our 17h flight. Number one reason we booked a hotel close to the airport. No indemnity was offered for the inconvenience, just added payment for parking.
I guess it’s an overall shame, we have another reservation upon our return flight in a few weeks, otherwise we might have considered a different hotel.
