My stay at the La Quinta hotel in South Carolina was mostly positive. The hotel appeared clean, and the check-in process was efficient, although they did mention a 24-hour $100 incidental hold on my credit card. However, upon arrival, it would have been helpful if they had informed us that the elevator was out of order. This inconvenience was particularly notable as many guests, including families from Army graduation services, had to navigate stairs. While the elevator was fixed the next day, the initial lack of disclosure caused some inconvenience and complaints among guests.
Despite this issue, our room was clean and comfortable, with a fairly comfortable bed. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I would consider booking at La Quinta again if I return to the area.
