We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel may look a little tired but the room size was excellent. The convenience of the small kitchen, utensils, and couch was unexpected but a really nice touch and it was a very good breakfast with great help. It did need a new tv in the room we had as it was somewhat snowy.

The front Desk clerk was very competent, friendly and helpful. She was very busy, non stop, but took the time to deal with my questions/ issues. The front desk staff set the mood for my experience there as well as the friendly Breakfast staff.Thank you

Get what you pay for, not bad but not luxary

The bed was not comfortable and pillows were old, my tv didnt work the 1st night, there wad no shampoo in ky shower nor did it get replace at during my stsy, there were holes in one of my towels. For the price it was what i expected. Front desk day shift were very nice (got my tv fixeecafter 2 attempts with the night staff with no help), friendly people. I'd stay again if the beddiing, tv , mattress and towels were updated.

The staff was great and very helpful. The room was clean and well kept. Hallways had a lot of wall patching that wasn't pleasant to see. The free breakfast was very limited. Scrambled eggs and sausage with griitty scrambled eggs and either over cooked or undercooked sausage patties. Only three kinds of cereal and no microwave.

Ordinary looking property that has probably seen better days under another owner’s banner. But it was reasonably clean and the room was spacious with a nice big king-size bed. Television turned on but that was about it. Cheap cable or bad signal resulted in a static-y and unclear picture. Obviously the property assumes most guests don’t bother with television and spend most of their time on their laptops.

The staff was extremely rude, then not welcome with a smile or even a normal greet. I noticed a few bugs in the room and I called the hotel management to come and take care of it or just move us to another room because we were getting flying creatures in the room and they told us it's not in their resume to deal with bugs or insects. The rooms had a musty smell, and the air conditioner was throwing air that could be seen like white air that felt and something you shouldn't consume.

Will never choose this place again!

We paid the price of a premium hotel for a smelly room with equipment that were worn out. First of all the room smelled like feet! The bed was so uncomfortable and noisy that we decided to sleep on separate beds. At night, a loud music could be heard from one of the units which did not let us sleep and there was no means in the room to call the receptionist. It was the worst experience I had in Port Hope. I won't be back to this place again!
