The one staff member we met at check-in was friendly and held our luggage for us til a room was available. The beach was within walking distance which was really nice. The hotel is pretty run down. We got a room on the first floor near the stairs and we could hear everyone around us, from the room next door, to the people going up and down the stairs or walking nearby. Our door had a big gap and doesnt shut all the way to where we can see light from out side through the door gap and we were able to hear people talking late into the night very loudly outside our door. It didn't feel very safe. The air conditioner was extremely loud everytime it started up and remained noisy as it was running. The shower knobs were practically falling off and the shower head had very little water pressure along with hot and cold water temperatures that could not be controlled. The towel was very small. Only plus with the bathroom was that it came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. TV had youtube to watch, but the internet went in and out. I wasn't able to sleep at all, but luckily it was only for a few hours since we were out of there by 3 am for a flight. The location is great, but the hotel needs a lot of work.

No one on premise to assist with no hot water issue and even though the place was almost empty, they put us in the only room that is on busy street and they don’t even have real windows so it was incredibly noisy all night long. Then at 8am in the morning, they are fixing the exterior of the building right outside our door! Horrible experience. If only they had been thoughtful and placed us in a different room.

The walls are paper thin. We listened to our neighbors movie at 3 am word for word. Florida had record lows this week — There was no heat. It was 40 degrees in the room. The window in the bathroom is slotted and wouldn’t close which made the temp worse. I understand it is Florida and heat isn’t needed often, but something — An extra blanket. A space heater. Anything offered by staff would have made it at least tolerable. The room was old and showed clear signs of its age. Worst stay in a hotel in years for nearly $200 off season. Trash. Do not book this.

Adorable old hotel with modern touches, very clean room, staff was awesome, amenities included their sister hotels and use of their amenities as well (multiple pools, spa, bar, etc) and so close to the beach in the cutest little village. Would absolutely stay there again!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location close to the beach. Otherwise it was a horrible experience. The room itself looked like it is not being maintained properly. Lots of cracks in the wall and floor. Also every review says how clean it is. The shower curtain had a big stain on it. Floor was sticky. There was no warm water in the shower. And the cherry on cake was the absence of the windows. They have some type of shutters insted of the windows that make you feel extremely unsafe and hear every little noise from the outside. I couldn’t not sleep at all.
