clean rooms, great value, ev charging

Been here a few times, love it. Old school charm, and clean. I brought a dog, some lawn areas to poop, car charging is slow but free. We got a room with a hot tub, was straight outta the eighties with mirrors too! Room was so clean, comfortable. Pool is small but good. breakfast tasty, but limited.

Do not recommend

Front desk service was awful, room was dirty nasty, so much damage in the room! The pool was gross, not a towel to be seen. Front desk lady had no shoes on and was just RUDE.

Wasn't bad but wasn't good

We stayed here for a wedding this weekend. The front end staff was nice and the fact that it was dog friendly with no weight restrictions was a huge perk. Now the room, its very orange and yellow. The floors had really bad staining on them. Half the outlets did not work. The closet didn't have a rod to hang up out clothes. The shower had mold in the grout, the security lock was missing. Our room didn't even have a room number on it. Just overall gave a not clean feel. We turned the sink on to wash our hands and the handle just came off. I thought maybe it was because we were staying in a pet room. But my friends were staying in the spa suite, the wallpaper was coming off the walls, light bulbs were burned out and there was even left over truly cans on the balcony that was left over from a previous guest. We were pretty busy with wedding festivities that we didn't get a chance to use the pool or the continental breakfast. The bed was clean, comfy and the pillow were actually really nice. Half the room was updated and half looks like it hasn't been updated in decades. But felt very much like a Motel 6 with a Baymont Logo.

Wont stay here again

Checke in paid a 200 dollar deposit first room we went too the lock was broken and the key wouldnt work. Second room we realized we the tv wasnt working. Front desk came up and said she would look for another room for us then called and said it was an issue through out and no one had TV and assured us it would be fixed shortly. Not only was it never fixed but we spoke to multiple people staying there that night all who had Tv. The hot tub was out of order and the indoor pool was freezing. Front desk told us it was supposed to be heated to 89 but was only at 72. No pool towels and only 1 towel in the room. Front desk told us there was a "towel shortage". JUST RIDICULOUS!!!!

There were safety issues with entrance door missing the strike plate on door frame. The only thing securing the door was the thin sheet metal of the door frame. The security feature on the upper door was missing the half of mechanism that should have been on door. The door strike plate was also missing on door that allowed the adjacent room to be connected. Center of sink stopper missing. Light switch not latching on properly at lavatory counter and also main light switch entering room had same problem. These items were reported to front desk. They were aware of problems and had a list but no maintenance person.

Nice stay, difficult shower.

Overall my stay was enjoyable. Well appointed room. Good facilities. My only issue was with the shower design. If a person is shorter than my 5'11, they will have great difficulty reaching and adjusting the shower head. Also, with the way the door is designed there is no way to get to your towel without getting out of the shower. Perhaps a hook on the wall by the door would help? Other than that small inconvenience, I enjoyed my stay and would recommended you .
