Lovely little gem, clean and comfortable. The manageress goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and make your stay stress free.

Everything was fine at first. But felt like we couldnt talk or watch tv cos the old couple next to us complained. We weren't being loud the walls were paper thin. Windows old floors creeky everywhere. We weren't allowed food in the room and dining room wasn't open. Where were we supposed to eat. I dont recommend if you like to have fun without having to creep around. Kinda ruined our break

Lovely room, lovely bathroom. Spotless throughout, nicely furnished & decorated. Friendly helpful staff. Safe location with easy free parking nearby. Absolute bargain - much better than I expected for the price.

Convenient for town centre. Friendly reception, however an earlier check in would have been preferred, I think a 16:00 check in is a bit late.

We had a friendly welcome from Tess, were given our keys to our room. We had room 2 which was a decent size with lovely fleece bedding. The shower was perfect, could do with a shelf for shower gel etc and a few hooks for clothes/ towels. We didn't have breakfast. It's a 15 minute stroll to the town centre with lovely views on route , would definitely recommend.

Had a 2 night stay here in August with my daughter during a road trip! Easy to find, warm welcome. Room two floors up - could inform guests of this when booking to avoid any potential issues with mobility. No dedicated parking but managed to find one quite easily and very close on the street outside as advised pre-arrival. Walkable to the front, town centre. Room lovely & clean (though it did smell a little musty & we did find couple of cobwebs and spiders-not great for arachnophobes like us!). The bathroom was modern and very clean but only a net at the window-really needs a blind of some sort. We had twin room - beds very comfortable and warm. Overall, great value, can use Tesco Clubcard points/vouchers here too and would definitely stay again.
