Rivertrees was a lovely start to our exploration of Tanzania. It is located in Arusha less than a ten minute drive from the town and the National Park gate. Our first ever game drive was organized by the hotel and was very productive and exciting. They also organized transport for us from the airport and to our next property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms in a very good state. Hotel very well located. The only thing that could be improved is the size of the bed and sound proof windows, due to the outside traffic. Thank you very much for the stay.

This was the perfect end to my trip to Africa before departing from JRO. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the property was beautiful.

With such a low daily cost, I was worried it would be minimal. But to my pleasant surprise, the room I was given was very modern looking. It had its own bathroom, and plugs for charging along with strong WiFi. Nice comfortable queen sized bed and a bunk bed. Deborah and her husband were very attentive hosts. Don't let the ride there dictate what you're going to think of the hotel because trust me the right there is really brutal but it is so so so so so worth it extremely beautiful the hotel itself is exceptional staff are very good I greatly enjoyed it I would show you some of the pictures but apparently there's no way to do that but I'm telling you it's worth it

Wonderful lodge with views of Mt Meru, attentive staff and beautiful decor. Great location for those heading to game parks!
