Although unable to cancel my reservation, I took the loss and secured lodging elsewhere. The Room was very run down, in disrepair and not clean, staff didn’t require ID or any minimum of security for check in. Excess hall traffic and Noise, people loitering outside my ground level exterior door.I selected the property due to it’s proximity to Gem and Mineral show venues, but I had no idea I would literally surrounded by vendors who had rented adjacent rooms to set up shop and do business out of

The bedding and sheets were dirty. The emergency lock didn’t work. It kept coming undone. The drawer by the bed wouldn’t close so you would hit it when you would get out of bed. We asked for an extra blanket and they didn’t have any. The phone kept getting disconnected from the cord every time you picked it up. And the breakfast had no coffee, yogurt or a lot of options for food. There was just bread, bananas and milk. There were also no cots available.

We booked a king size bed requested on the bottom floor due to my husband’s walking no king-size bed and we were on the second floor. We were told they were shampooing the carpets on the bottom floor for the king size beds. The room itself looked like it was fallen apart. The ceiling looked like it was half scraped off and falling down. The tub had long dark hair in it. I have short blonde hair and my husband is all gray. Water Spicket on the tub look like it was ready to fall out of the wall. The bed was very comfortable, but that was the only good thing to say about the room. The tissue box only had one tissue in it!

Hotel needs renovation, it is run down. Smells deep down in carpets, shower just had cold water after maintenence apparently fixed the loose handle that regulates water flow. Price is low which is the only positive, but the saying "you get what you pay for" seems to apply here. Not good for the Quality Inn chain, which has well run hotels as well.

Room is definitely aging. Electrical outlets are loose and the shower faucet was in dire need of repair. Hot water would run out mis shower, Toilets were very low flow. Our room was missing the security door lock bolt. The brealfast was so so as the coffee would run out and all of the muffins were left uncovered.

The Quality Inn canceled our reservation without notifying us because the first name of the person scheduled to check in did not match the first name on the credit card, even though the last name was the same. We showed up to check in and were turned away. Horrible experience.
