We booked the Ensana Buxton Crescent Hotel as a Christmas present through Hotels.com and got some good cashback and discounts, which made the stay feel excellent value for money.
We chose the upgraded Crescent Room and absolutely loved it. The bathroom was a real highlight—spacious, with a big shower, a lovely bath, and décor that really suited our taste. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed the view over the spa. The TV could have been better, as a few channels didn’t work, but it didn’t affect our stay too much.
The standout feature for us was the spa access throughout our stay. The rooftop pool was beautiful and just the right temperature, and the range of saunas and steam rooms was fantastic. Such a relaxing experience!
Breakfast the next morning was very nice, though the service could have been slightly quicker.
Overall, a wonderful stay and well worth the trip. We’d definitely return.
