The hotel was nice overall. Smelled great. Very clean. Only issue I truly had was the fact that housekeeping doesn’t replenish linens except every two days. Given the humidity and beach and sand, I didn’t feel that was appropriate. Otherwise it was good!

Mediocre

Should have read previous reviews. Room did smell of mildew/mold with no air flow, no shower hot water at all. Ran the water for 10 mins and barely warmed up. Was told everytbing was fine in a condescending tone. Walls are crazy thin as mentiones in other reviews. Loud beeping sound throughout the entire night from the FA panel at the front door. Can hear people accross the building. Wojld look elsewhere before coming back to be honest. Location was great, parking is not.

The neighborhood it was quiet. The room was very quaint and clean. It was a little weird, not seeing an attendant or anyone to actually physically talk to but any problems that I did have were easily fixed. I would stay there again. But I was so far away from my other family members that I had to take the bus to the other side of downtown Miami so it wasn’t as close as I thought it would be to the port. Still, the room itself was good.

The Casa Sofi was our first experience with a hotel that did not have a front desk. Everything was keyless entry which was quite easy. The place smelled great! The beds were ok, our king size bed were two smaller mattresses pushed together and didn't feel level. The bathroom was very nice and the location fantastic as it was close to the beach and to the main street of Ocean View.

The problem was that there was no front desk and no one to refer while facing a problem, everything was virtual. It was clean, great location, nice room. Parking is super expensive in the area

I guess I should read the google reviews before I booked… After arriving I went to restroom, the toilet wouldn’t flush. We got the attention of a cleaner on site because there was no front desk. The cleaning lady attempted to clear a clog which was non existent. It was clearly a pressure issue. She left the plunger and told us to use the restroom “lightly”. Not sure if you’ve ever had Cuban food in Miami, but a restroom in general shouldn’t have to be used lightly. Needless to say, we had to use the restroom again and after three calls they sent another gentleman to clear the “clog”. Mind you, he wasn’t a cleaner so he left all the toilet water on the bathroom floor and walked it out of the room so we had to clean after him. We requested to change rooms and were told that all of south beach is like this because of the water pressure. Which I know is false b/c this isn’t our first rodeo in South Beach! So we had to use the restroom at restaurants and other places. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, when we attempted to shower, we found hair from a previous guest. My wife is strawberry blonde and the hair in the photo is clearly a brunette. The tv doesn’t play any channels, you can only watch YouTube or risk getting your account info stolen by logging into their “smart” tv. The walls are not insulated. I could not sleep more than 1 hours off and on without hearing the guest across us either watch tv, fight, make love or just have loud drunken rants. You can hear a pin drop.

Experiencia pessima! Cheguei no "hotel" na véspera do ano novo, por volta das 21h e a senha de acesso que me foi enviado por mensagem não funcionava, com informações nada claras nem objetivas, não bastando ainda precisei ouvir do atendente que me atendeu por telefone que "se eu não me acalmasse por conta do contratempo provocado por eles da senha que eles tinham me passado, ele cancelaria a minha reserva (que ja estava paga)". Fora o quarto ser muito pequeno; a televisão não tinha TV a cabo e solicitou minhas senhas e login para assistir algo nos canais de stream (em uma TV que não é minha); serviço de limpeza dos quartos péssima e o banheiro sem a menor estrutura de hotelaria, sem pressão no chuveiro e amenities de péssima qualidade. O lado positivo é a ótima localização, porem sem estacionamento próprio
