Loved how comfortable and spacious the room was. The room had big windows, letting in tons of natural light and offered great views of the surrounding heritage buildings. I really enjoy an apartment-style stay, it makes travelling feel like home! The location was wonderful - so close to everything in Old Montreal, as well as the metro and VIA rail station. Super convenient for getting around! The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed (fridge, kettle, dishwasher). Only room issue we faced was trouble with the washing machine, however, maintenance was quick to come by and resolve the issue! We also stayed on a weekend, so there was some street noise from passersby some evenings, but the room was equipped with earplugs and a white noise machine so it was not an issue at all. It was my first time staying at a Sonder, and it was a lovely experience and beautiful place to stay.

We expected concierge or staff during the day to answer questions. Knew there’d be no one during evening. But very disappointed to have no one available during the day.

The unit was very nice and the area is central. There are all kinds of restaurants nearby and public transportation is about a 5 minute walk away. The only negatives were the quality of the toilet paper(like sandpaper), the shower head was awful, a lack of hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom, no hooks or closet to hang jacket or coats and no tea towel for the kitchen.

I booked a room and liked my stay so much I decided to book again the week afterwards. I come to the city for work meetings. Unfortunately I booked the same room and did not get a dining table. I had to book a working space to be able to do my zoom meetings during that stay.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this property on Expedia. Not your conventional hotel but I think for people on the go like us, it was way more convenient. Front lobby had extra supplies needed. I love the fully stocked and furnished condo. Everything was accessible through the Sonder app and have recommendations of where to visit and to eat. It was very clean, modern and spacious. There were some damages on the door, walls etc but nothing that took away from its function. Another thing to consider is the hotel is close to a main road and it can get loud at night and they provide ear plugs. Limited street parking but no over night parking. Everything was in close proximity and walking distance. We were able to walk and hit up all the spots downtown, china town and old Montreal. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone. Merci beaucoup!
