Dirty! And Corrupt!

We were given a room that was dirty. It had something dark splattered on the wall, fingerprints in the bathroom, the fridge had a constant whirling sound, the room was musty and so was the hallway to the room. We asked for a clean room and were given keys to a room that was already occupied. When we went back to the front desk, she said the only other room we could have was the dirty room. No offer to clean it! When I told her that it either had to be cleaned or I want a refund... she handed me a receipt for most of the refund. The only good thing they did was to let me know that I'd left behind my computer bag. I appreciate that... but they kept my over night bag with jewlery and make-up saying they didnt find it. No, they kept it! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The TV was not set up. The desk clerk was great. She reset the system for us. At 2:30AM the TV turned on waking us up. we could not go back to sleep after that. The room is dirty & the stairway is gross. The exterior door by the stairway does not lock. We have been fans of La Quinta Inns for years, but if we based our view of La Quinta on this location, we would never stay at another one

The heat didnt work in my room. The next morning i told them about it and went on with my day. I got back that afternoon and the room was almost 60°. Called the front desk and they offered another room on the same floor.

Do not recommend for more then 1 night

The hotel was ok but dated. The pool was and hot tub were poorly maintained. If you are looking for a basic place to stay for a night then this will work fine.

overall experience

breakfast was thin with no fruits or proteins shower curtain ripped curtains had holes in them laminate flooring not staying down on the floor and loose one of the bed squeaked and mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable with little support key card stopped working several times - front desk was nice but had to replace cards multiple times walls were thin enough to hear everything from the adjacent rooms tv was tiny for the size of the room

The bathroom sink handle came off if you turned it right. The laminate floor around the toilet was completely warped. The floor was completely saturated in old urine and smelled completely awful. It was very unsanitary.

Overpriced and tired

The hotel was very run down. Flooring was buckled and falling apart in our room. It looked like it may have been water damaged a long time ago. There were mildew stains under the caulk in the bathroom. The hall had a funky odor. The bed was comfortable enough and the linens were decent. Check in was not very friendly. Didn’t greet us, just looked at us until I said I was checking in. Then he poked around on his computer, gave us the room number & the standard info about the restaurant. No smile, no “have a nice stay”.

Evening desk manager is great.

The perfect place for our family to get a couple of days skiing without breaking the bank. The original room we were booked in was not fully cleaned, so the front desk person promptly gave us a new, clean room right next to the original one. She was working by herself that night and handled all of our and it looked like everyone else’s needs with grace and ease. We will be back.
