Not what we were hoping for

We were very disappointed by a few things with this hotel which made me feel we should write a review. We arrived after a long day of traveling and only sleeping a few hours. We just wanted a place to rest. We asked for an early check in or if they could call us when room was ready. The girl at the front desk wasn’t understanding or nice and said they were “too busy” to allow any check in before 3pm. We stayed in the lobby to charge our phones and not 1 person came through over the next 45 min. Eventually we went back to town and came back at 2 pm and sat in the lobby another hour and not one person checked in then either. There were no phone calls at the desk and the lot was empty. They were not busy. We eventually were allowed to check in at 2:50pm. The WiFi didn’t work so we needed to sit outside McDonalds to get coverage for things we needed to work on. The breakfast buffet was all cold and packaged type food. With that being said the room was nice and clean. Plus, this was one of the most expensive places we stayed at during our trip to the parks. Other places were much nicer for the money.

Almost perfect, breakfast ruined it.

Room was great, service great. Breakfast was disappointing. Advertised as “hot breakfast” it was cold microwaveable sandwiches and a toaster with bread and bagels. There’s a picture of waffles with syrup on the wall, but nothing of the hot sort was actually available. It tarnished what would have otherwise been an excellent stay.

Wonderful Stay

We were in town for a family members race in the 50 Miler. The room was wonderful! We had 2 rooms and both had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The room size was great with plenty of space, a microwave and a mini fridge. Super clean and a cute room. The pool was wonderful! It was heated, indoor and the hot tub was great. It was perfect after a long day of being in the dust. There were locker rooms in the pool area as well which was awesome! We could shower before and after entering the pool and bathrooms were right there. Parking was free and super easy. It was a great location to everything we needed inside and out of town. The front desk and staff we interacted with were all AMAZING! So friendly and helpful! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast. It wasn’t terrible but it was a little slim. They have frozen Jimmy John breakfast sandwiches, frozen burritos, yogurt, bagels, toast, cereal, apples, bananas and fruit. It was all good just more on the slim breakfast side which isn’t awful because plenty of restaurants in town offer great breakfast if you want a full spread. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to stay here again!

Won't stay here again

Picked this motel for the indoor pool. When we arrived was told it was closed. Informed attendant that it doesn't state that on the website. He said it wasn't his fault and there's nothing he can do. Also, the lobby STUNK! Won't stay here again.

This hotel was a disaster from start to finish. Basic amenities were nonexistent: the water bottle refilling machine’s sensor was broken, two vending machines were out of order, and the third was simply missing. For the rates they charge, this is unacceptable. The staff was unprofessional and rude. The daytime front desk clerk acted like we were an inconvenience, showing no effort to be helpful or friendly. The night receptionist was even worse. After one of our keycards for room 219 didn’t work, we went to the desk to get it fixed. Instead of simply reactivating the broken card, he took both, reactivated them without checking the room number, and handed them back. Neither card worked in our room—but both worked for room 209! When we returned to explain, the receptionist became argumentative, insisting we’d said 209, even though I’d clearly stated 219 (verified by another guest standing nearby). After several minutes of continuously blaming us, he finally issued the correct cards. The whole situation was unprofessional and concerning—he’d activated cards for the wrong room without verifying our identity, a massive security risk. The room itself wasn’t much better. The bathroom vent didn’t work, emitted a burning smell, and sounded like a critically wounded animal. Between the malfunctioning amenities, rude staff, and major safety issues, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Avoid Quality Suites if you value your comfort and security.

Very nice room, great value for winter

Our room was very comfortable and nicely updated. Breakfast was pretty standard (but no hot things like eggs or waffles). We got winter pricing and it was a great value. I would return.
