Très bon sejour

Super hôtel malgré la promiscuité de l’aéroport ( ne gêne en rien la nuit). Très bon accueil dans de jolis locaux. La chambre est propre, spacieuse. La literie est confortable. Je conseille de choisir une vue marina qui est bien plus agréable que face au parking et la route. Le petit déjeuné est très correct par rapport à tout ce que l’on a pu avoir. La piscine est également magnifique. Très bon séjour.

Give this (very) old property a pass

This run-down hotel badly needs renovation. The property is very old and wears every year, poorly. Not dilapidated, but nearly. Very overpriced for what you get. Think: gaps in the doorframes that make rooms feel "open", poorly-ventilated and musty rooms that need to have the A/C cleaned, bathroom doors that nearly hit the toilet, and an overall shabby appearance. It is directly on a main road and driving access is very tricky if there is any traffic. It is unfortunately under the flight path for the airport, so you can wave at passengers when the engine noise disturbs you, if that's your thing. The free breakfast is basic: eggs + bacon/sausage + potatoes & waffle / pancakes. The service, however, was great. Nice, delightful people doing what they can. That was a highlight for sure. We had some small issues and the desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rest of the ground & housekeeping staff seemed welcoming and happy to help whenever we ran into them.

Enjoyed our stay her! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with many options available. Only drawback was loud jets flying overhead during the day from the nearby airport. Would highly recommed!

Disappointed

The pictures showed a resort type atmosphere with tiki huts in a Marina, but it didn’t show its in the flight path for Sarasota airport and every three minutes a jumbo jet Was landing and the next morning I woke to hear a jet taking off around 5 AM. If you do stay there, definitely stay on the water side because if you stay on the roadside, you’ll be up all night with the An hour noise from the traffic.Not all the rooms have a private balcony only a few.

Great one night stop

This was a great stop for one night. The bar/restaurant on site was a great factor in selecting this hotel. The location was exactly what we were looking for in a one night stop on a long road trip around Florida. We had a water view which was excellent, the bar was fun and offered a lot of food options. There is no elevator so be aware. The hotel always felt safe and clean and we enjoyed watching the harbor activity. I would stay there again if in the area.

High price for lower quality.

This hotel is old and has some updates but didn't meet our expectations for the price. Staff was nice. Towels were stained. Matress squeeked. Airport is very close as is hwy. Noisy. Breakfast was average. Pool was nice. Tiki bar was good and popular.

This hotel was maybe a 1 1/2 star at best . The entire hotel is badly in need of renovations, The beds were old and creaky, worn out mattresses and bedding. Sorry, but you asked. We could not wait to wake up and get out of there.
