Amazing time at The Lake Hotel

I had an amazing time at The Lake Hotel! The room was the perfect size and the beds were very comfortable. We had a view of the lake and a beautiful sunset every night. It was in walking distance of the Killarney National Park and Muckross House. The city was a short drive from the hotel. Only thing is we did not have A/C in our room and it was hot during our stay. We had a fan but it did not make a difference. It was not supposed to be so warm during the time we were there but we were fortunate to have a beautiful week in Ireland.

Royalty on the lake

The property certainly gives the feel of royalty. Beautiful setting on the lake with a castle and mountain backdrop. Rooms, lounges and restaurant were all excellent. Can easily hike into the park and the city is 5 min away. Great breakfast and bar. Loved it.

Healing Time in Nature

I could rest in nature. Such a beautiful place to go. There is a walking trail right in front of the hotel restaurant. My family walked before and after each meal.

The MVP of hotel was on the lake, apart from that there is no amenities, the pool charges you 20 euros for 1.5 hours and requires booking, the dining options are limited to 9:30 pm and there is no place outside built to have enjoy the property and view

The Lake Hotel is the loveliest stay I have ever had. It was my second time and it is a must stay whenever I will go to Ireland henceforth. The view was sensational, the room was luxurious, and the food and drinks were superb. Additionally, the staff was so accommodating and friendly.

Gorgeous place

The view of the lake was incredible. I strongly recommend one of the rooms facing the lake. If you can get it I was here in the middle of winter and during the Daragh storm and the whole place was just kind of magical because of the to be honest. The grounds are beautiful. I walked all the way round and I just can’t think of another place that is as pretty as this. To be honest, I’d probably give the food a miss if I went back again.

Amazing lake view property

View and property is unbelievably beautiful! Breakfast was delicious. Staff great. I would definitely stay here again. Beds were ok - only area they could improve is better linens and beds. But….the view, service and delicious breakfast make up for that. Clientele while we were there was a little bit older but made for a quiet relaxing stay. Book the lake view room! Pictures are the view from our room.
