Das Hotel war glücklicherweise etwas abseits vom Parkway Drive, der Hauptstrasse, an der entlang sich Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars und Attraktionen reihen. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht, es war sauber und der Raum war schon beeindruckend. Den Balkon mit Blick zum Fluss, musste man sich mit dem Nachbarzimmer teilen. Wir haben ihn aber kaum genutzt, wir hatten auch nur 2 Übernachtungen. Das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch, Toast, Bagels, Pancakes und Cerials. Natürlich wieder Pappteller, Pappbecher und Plastikbesteck. Zum Parkwaydrive sind es nur wenige Laufminuten und man ist mitten im Geschehen.

We were just going to be in Gatlinburg for one night on our trip. So glad we found this hotel. It was a huge room for the price. This is a hotel in a busy town but it was really quiet the night we stayed. The room was huge. After being in a car most of the day it was nice to be able to stretch out. The deck overlooked the river. We even saw a bear walking through the stream. We would stay there again if we ever go through town again.

Unfortunately, my experience from May 25 to 28, 2025, ranks as the worst hotel stay I have had in over thirty-five years of travel, marred by multiple serious and unresolved issues that began at check-in and continued through check-out. The problems included: • Unresponsive and unhelpful front desk and management staff, who demonstrated little interest in addressing the concerns I raised. • A malfunctioning shower handle, which was loosely held together with putty. This made it impossible to control the water flow and temperature effectively. • Poor drainage in the shower, which caused the bathroom to flood during use. • A strong, musty, and moldy odor in the room, likely due to inadequate maintenance. This was made worse by an overly sweet-scented spray that failed to mask the underlying smell. • Unmade-up room despite repeated requests. • Despite these significant problems, staff refused to offer a room change or refund. This level of service and room condition is wholly unacceptable and falls far below the standards I expect from a SureStay Plus, a Best Western property. I have numerous photos documenting the issues raised in the bullets. Given the severity of these issues, especially during a holiday period when alternate accommodation was unavailable and a refund was refused, I requested a full reimbursement for my stay and am awaiting a response. A lack of customer care, physical discomfort, and negative impact on what should have been a pleasant visit.

Don’t stay here

Room 701. The elevator is noisy all day and night. The bathroom is dirty (dirty hand towels wadded up in the vanity and long hairs in the large towels, used toilet paper roll, one tissue in the box), room not fully cleaned, tv remote barely working, light on from outlet all night, outlet plugs next to bed do not work, little artwork, balcony lights can’t be turned off, and check in person somewhat rude. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good Gatlinburg hotel stay if you want on the stri

The rooms was clean and larger than most hotel rooms. It has a nice size balcony overlooking the water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is very quiet which is nice. Convenient location right off the Gatlinburg strip. The mattress on the king bed needs replaced. The breakfast was fair at best. Very limited options available, needs more food options. The coffee was good. We would stay here again.

Vacation trip

My son & I enjoyed our stay there. We enjoyed the river view from the balcony it was very calming. The location of the hotel so close to restaurants and shop within walking distance. There is also a gas station a few away from the hotel.
