No sleep

Good value for price, but most rooms lack a window and can feel a bit like a prison. Beautiful building and helpful staff. Be prepared to climb the flights of stairs or squeeze into the very tiny elevator. Walls are paper thin, so your ability to get a good night’s sleep is completely dependent on luck. We had to check out early after 3 nights of no sleep due to noisy neighbors partying all hours of the day

Don't stay here if you value daylight and views.

While the building is very attractive, the rooms are small and there is no window to the outside making them dark and stuffy. The only window is high up and looks into a closed well. Reasonable price.

I had the superior suite, was disappointed. there was no kettle / coffee maker, no washing liquid to clean dishes, floors werent cleaned before i arrived or during as after each shower my feet got filthy. No soundproofing in room 301 is terrible noisy from the street traffic and dogs barking. Only time of quiet 12am-5am. The roof terrace is the the highlight of the place.

My room was really large and clean, but the rooms face an internal area (no windows facing outside) so if anyone is in the courtyard area you can hear everything. Saturday nights are super loud! But the rooms are really nice and large and its in a good area. There is a large hole in the sidewalk in front of the front door that I got my foot stuck in and fell down. I hope they fix it soon.

Absolutely fantastic location, close to major sites, metro, bus etc. Lots of restaurants in the 'hood once you go looking ... would have a appreciated a few tips from the staff though for our first day. No window to the street in our room, only to an airshaft, but actually ok because quieter. Room re-done recently, comfy bed and lots of room. Building is eclectic to say the least!

This hotel is walking 5 min. distance from The Zócalo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. It is located in a busy area so it is not that quite during the morning rush hours. However the hotel is kept very clean, the rooms and beds very comfortable, and staff very polite. I recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the Zócalo.
