Nice service and the location is compact. The room is too small for 2 travellers. The sound insulation of room is poor as i heard the TV sound from adjacent room in middle of night. It needed to wait a long time for hot water for showering.

Staff member on reception was pleasant, room was keen. You have to understand that this is a really basic room, there is a space to stand in, the (tiny) en-suite area and the bed. That is pretty much it. If you are just looking for somewhere to put your head down for the night and not share a hostel room then this is a great option but Edinburgh in general is very pricey so don't be shocked that you don't get as much as you would in a Premier Inn or similar. Drinks are available in reception for £1 (no facilities in room) and there is no lift!

I stayed at easyHotel Edinburgh for two nights on a last-minute booking. Prices in the city were high, so I chose this knowing the rooms would be small — but they’re tiny, more like a small cabinet with a bathroom the size of an airplane one. We were two people with two backpacks and a trolley, and it was nearly impossible to move around. Even simple things like showering, packing, or getting ready felt like a challenge. The bathroom has no ventilation, so after a shower the whole room fills with uncomfortable humidity. After long days of walking around Edinburgh, I honestly didn’t look forward to returning to the room — it just wasn't comfortable. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the location is very central. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s only suitable for one person needing a basic place to sleep for a short stay.

- Paper thin walls - my wife forgot her keycard and staff wouldn't let her in, claiming we didn't live there - I could barely fit in the bed - water took forever to heat up - one of the "flush" buttons didn't work, the other got stuck sometimes, and the whole plate with flush buttons fell off twice - still some of the cheapest accomodation we could find (wow) - good location though

Meget lille værelse, mindre end hvad man skulle tro fra billederne, men hvis man er ude og lave noget er det ikke et problem. Alle i receptionen var virkelig velkomne og de hjalp da mit bad ikke virkede ordentligt. Jeg fik et nyt værelse hvor badet virkede. Masser af butikker i og restauranter i nærheden, god udsigt til Edinburgh slot.

Rooms are super tiny. Two adults cannot get past each other in the room. Most rooms have no windows. Great for a solo experience- not so for anyone over 45 or couples.

Mold. And no toilet brush.

Well, where to begin. we knew it would be a small room, but its literally so small 2 persons can hardly stand up same time. But thats not the main issue. the bed itself was clean, but the matress is so hard you feel like laying on a brick, the side facing the floor, has a tilt so you feel you fall out, now to the worst part of this trip! THERE WAS MOLD EVERYWHERE in the bathroom! Along all the edges, the button to flush fell down, and i saw that was FILLED with mold aswell. added some pictures. We lived in mold filled for 3 nights, "we spent the money so we only slept and then straight out" Its a health hazard and should not be alowed to be open with mold. oh yeah AND THERE WAS NO TOILET BRUSH?! What hotel has no toilet brush?! no trashcan inside the room, we had to use the small toilet one, and asked where we could get it changed, the desk guy had no idea, sounded like he never got asked that before. overall, i would never recommend this to anyone, knowing it was a cheaper one, this was still unacceptable. even hostels are better than this. the room was falling apart, one spot lamp was also half out. 0/10 would never come again, booked it knowing it was a smaller and cheaper, but this stuff? God no! we picked it cause of the location. Truely a dissapointing stay.
