The people next door are smoking in a non-smoking room. The staff know this and haven't removed them from the premises. Now our stay is affected by the disgusting smell of smoke because staff says they have no more rooms available. They offered a full refund but to try and find a room on short notice, the day before the 4th of July, is impossible. We decided to bite the bullet and stay. Things we found unacceptable were
• the box spring creaked loudly with the slightest movement
• needed toilet paper and towels upon arrival
• although this establishment is dog-friendly, I think it would have been quieter at a kennel. Over 50% of the rooms had dogs.
• the lunch-ldy in the breakfast area has an attitude. On July 4th, breakfast was a packed house the entire 3 hours it was open. She had the nerve to tell me that I couldn't prepare my food in the area of the toasters because others need use the area. I told her to look around, there is no other area to prepare food.
• parking lot has potholes deep enough to swallow a small car
• 2nd floor outside railing is old, decrepit and falling apart.
Over-all, my opinion about this stay at this establishment is poor. Will not recommend nor stay here ever again.
