Lovely experience at the Axel Guldsmeden hotel. The facilities are very clean and have a casual chic design aesthetic. The pillow menu is a wonderful benefit. Amazing location not too deep in the tourist stuff, but close enough.. but also really close to Vesterbro and all the great stuff there. 1 block from Copenhagen central station. ideal. We appreciated being so close to the train station. Despite that, it's in a quiet area. There are plenty of small coffee shops very nearby and we enjoyed trying different ones for breakfast. This was the 5th hotel of our trip (rest were in Norway) and it was the largest room we had which was nice because it was 2 friends sharing the room.
