Good stuff first. I’d say the location was great. Right near tons of stores and attractions, but that meant LOTS of vehicle noise heard in the room when they flew by the hotel. The staff was very friendly!
My kids loved the pools and hot tub.
Free parking is always nice! The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.
Now the not so good stuff. Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel. No mention of room service and nothing but a few snack machines downstairs with crackers and candy bars, and a tea and cider station. No freezer or refrigerated foods in the lobby. Only few miniature size toiletries provided. I hoped they would have had full sizes in the shower like I’ve seen at tons of 3 star hotels, which would have been great since I forgot my body wash. Also no towel racks to dry your towels. Only a hook on the door? That struggle with four of us. The clock was on the fritz, blacking out and then coming back on with a different times. We just had to check our phones, no biggie.
Here’s the big one that bothered me and will keep me from coming back unfortunately.
The ceiling was leaking in the breakfast area. Dripping on the floor and on our table next to our food. I looked up and saw mildew in the light fixtures and spreading out across the ceiling near the lights. Then I realized I could smell it too. I had a headache the whole time I was there, not sure if that was the cause or maybe it was my kids. Lol. But yeah, that was a disturbing discovery. Last visit.
