Our best hotel so far. Everything met my needs and the breakfast was tasty, and a great machine for beverages. Bath was nice and bed was decent for us and my pregnant wife. The traditional sweets place across the road, for small treats and mochi was worth it! Very happy.

Staff very helpfully and welcoming. Very easy to walk around to bus and train station. Near Sanmachi st, morning market, Hida beef restaurant, Hida kokubunji temple, easy travel to Shiragawa-go, Ski resort.. Things do not like: price not include breakfast and the price for breakfast quite expensive 1.700yen/person. There is no telephone in room: I wonder if emergency happended how can I call for help?. Stay here for 3 night but the room never clean up, trash Lego up! Only inđoor Onsen. No air humidifier in room.

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits. Hôtel situé à 7 minutes de la gare. Le personnel est très aimable et avenant. Distributeur d’eau disponible h24. Et de boissons soft de 15h à 23h très appréciables. La chambre est correcte mais très mal agencée. Peu d’espaces disponibles pour 2 grandes valises (couple). La propreté de la salle de bain laissait à désirer (poussière dans la grille de l’aspiration, et moisissures sur le pommeau de douche). Un matin nous avons pris la désagréable odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain.

The room was small but clean. Staff was friendly, didn’t come across anyone at the hotel that spoke any English during our stay. Toilet paper was worse than at the public restrooms. The biggest concern was that they increased our room rate right after cancellation was no longer available. We chose to reserve and pay at the venue so it is their right to do so but they increased it by over $100 for the two nights, even though there were still rooms on their website that were far far cheaper. When asked, they refused to allow us to change rooms without penalty so we would’ve had to pay the same amount as the rooms we had arranged for plus a $20 fee for doing so. They also charged us a bath rate for the baths which we were not told about and it was not optional.

I had a standard Queen room. It was so poorly arranged there was no place to open your luggage. The luggage rack they supplied was so small. , and there was nowhere to open it up. They even had a note saying that you can put your suitcase under the bed. many hotels now only have little hooks on the wall and no closet. That’s bad enough, but when you can’t open your suitcase in the room and you’re expected to slide it out under the bed and slide it back in just to get some things out ; no shelf to put any other clothes on. you had to rent an alarm clock and you had to rent an umbrella. Traveling in Japan most places I have stayed at offered umbrellas as a complimentary thing for people to have in case it’s raining I understand charging somebody if they lose the umbrella, but to rent one?? Hotels are in the business of hospitality, and I certainly don’t feel that this was one that exemplified that.
