Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Easy stroll to the beach and a nice walk to the center of town while also close to the 101. Parking was easy and safe, rooms are very nice and well appointed. They have some lovely common areas to sit in and the staff was friendly. Overall, no real complaints; I'd definitely check availability here if I were considering another visit to Santa Barbara.
My only comment would be on breakfast. When a hotel advertises that it includes breakfast, it's always a bit of a crap shoot on what you'll actually get. In this case, it's a bit higher quality than standard roadside motel fare but still the usual sugary yogurt, some fresh fruit and various bread options. The pastries wrapped in plastic were kinda dry and bland (and the plastic wrap seems wasteful, but probably useful if you're grabbing something for the road). This breakfast wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me when deciding whether to stay here but its always helpful to know what the breakfast is actually like. If you have time, there are loads of yummy restaurants and cafes within 15 minutes' walking distance, would highly encourage patronizing them if you want something more substantial.
